The Sants Festivities will once again fill the Sants neighborhood with decorations, music, spectacles and a lot of color, especially with the competition of street decoration. This year, there will be 14 streets decorated for Fiestas de Sants. On Monday, August 26 at 7:30 pm, the prizes will be given to the best decorated one. Apart from the official program, many streets have programmed their own activities. For example, Alcolea de Dalt street will offer a trout, canapés and tapas contest on Saturday, August 31. Finlandia street have scheduled a night of theater with Impro Show on August 26 at 10 pm, and on Sunday, August 25, you can attend a salsa class on Galileo Street. There is also a wide range of activities for kids!
The music will be the protagonist of Fiestas de Sants on Tuesday, August 27 at the Parc de l’Espanya Industrial. Hotel Cochambre will perform at 11pm. Among the street programming, we also feature outstanding performances, such as the Pirat’s Sound System on Wednesday, August 28 at 10.15 pm on Vallespir de Baix street or Miquel del Roig street on Wednesday, August 28 at 11pm. The Santanyí Festival of 2019 will start on Saturday August 24 with the floral offering to Sant Bartomeu, popular culture dances and the proclamation. The event will take place at 8 pm at the Parque Industrial de España.
